Mr. Paradorn Prissananantakul, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, Kicked Off ITA Assessment Initiative to Enhance Public Data Disclosure for Transparency, Piloting Across 160 Department-Level Agencies

On Monday, 25 May 2026, at 9.00 a.m., Mr. Paradorn Prissananantakul, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, who has been assigned and authorized to supervise and perform duties on behalf of the Prime Minister in overseeing the Office of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC), presided over the opening ceremony of the workshop on enhancing the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) scores of department-level or equivalent government agencies. On this occasion, he also delivered a keynote address on “ITA Assessment as a Driving Force for Transparency in Public Sector Agencies.

The event was attended by Mr. Bhumivisan Kasemsook, Secretary-General of the PACC; Mr. Surapong Inthathaworn, Secretary-General of Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC); Mr. Ekachai Kasemsukthawat, Deputy Secretary-General of the PACC; Pol.Lt.Col. Siriphong Sritula, Deputy Secretary-General of the PACC; together with PACC executives, representatives from relevant agencies, and more than 350 officials from 160 department-level or equivalent government agencies. The workshop was held at Sapphire Rooms 204–205, IMPACT Forum, Muang Thong Thani, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province.

The workshop was organized by the Division of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Prevention, the PACC, with the objective of enhancing the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) performance of all 160 department-level or equivalent agencies under its supervision to meet the assessment criteria, with target scores of no less than 85 points. The activities included a panel discussion on “Enhancing ITA Assessment: Mobilizing the Disclosure of Public Sector Information”, a discussion session on “Consultation Clinic on the Government Data Catalog System”, breakout sessions for knowledge exchange under the topic “Consultation Clinic on the FY 2026 ITA Assessment”, and a discussion on “Techniques, Methods, and Approaches for Enhancing ITA Assessment among Department-Level or Equivalent Agencies”.

In this regard, the Minister Attached to the Prime Minister’s Office emphasized the importance of mobilizing this policy in collaboration with relevant agencies to achieve concrete and tangible outcomes, particularly in promoting greater awareness among public agencies of the importance of transparent disclosure of public service information and the honest and ethical performance of official duties. These efforts are expected to contribute to improving Thailand’s Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), enhancing ITA assessment results across government agencies, and strengthening public confidence in the public sector.
