PACC Hosted Private Sector Seminar to Promote Good Governance and Participation in Preventing Corruption and Misconduct in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

On 7 June 2025 at 9:00 A.M., the Secretary-General of PACC assigned Pol. Lt. Col. Siripong Sritula, Assistant Secretary-General of PACC, Acting Deputy Secretary-General, to preside over the Opening Ceremony of the Private Sector and Investor Seminar. The seminar aims to promote good governance and stakeholder participation in preventing corruption and misconduct within PACC’s designated areas, marking the 3rd session under the Project to Promote Good Governance and Participation of the Private Sector and Investors in Preventing Corruption and Misconduct for the fiscal year 2025.

Pol. Lt. Col. Siripong Sritula also delivered a special lecture on the topic: “The Role of PACC in Promoting and Supporting the Private Sector to Enhance Competitiveness Based on Good Governance Principles”. Participants included representatives from government agencies, private sector organizations, and investors in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The event was held at the Imperial Hotel and Convention Centre Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.

The project was organized by the Innovation and Government Transparency Division of PACC with the objective of building an understanding of the roles, responsibilities, and operational guidelines of PACC. It also aimed to provide knowledge to the private sector and investors within the jurisdiction of NACC Region 3, especially in cases where they are affected by the actions of government agencies or officials.

Key activities included:

1. A panel discussion on the topic: “Private Sector/Investor Perspectives on Corruption in Government Agencies in Nakhon Ratchasima and Suggestions for Improving Public Service Quality.”

2. A discussion on: “The PACC’s Service Facilitation Center for Investors and Foreign Nationals as a Key Tool in Alleviating Private Sector Concerns.”

3. A session on: “Public Participation in Preventing Corruption and Misconduct, and Enhancing Understanding Among the Private Sector and Investors Regarding the Executive Measures in Anti-Corruption Act B.E. 2551 (2008) and the additional amendment”

Additionally, workshop activities were conducted to exchange experiences and formulate proposals from the private sector and investors on preventing corruption and improving the quality of public services. These initiatives aim to effectively and promptly address issues or inconveniences faced by investors and foreign nationals.
