On Monday, August 10, 2026, at 11.00 a.m., the Secretary-General of the PACC assigned Pol. Lt. Col. Siripong Sritula, Deputy Secretary-General of the PACC, together with relevant PACC officials, to attend the 1st Meeting on Advancing Cooperation in the Prevention and Suppression of Civil Registration and National ID Card Corruption Impacting Civil Registration Security (No. 1/2026) The meeting was chaired by Mr. Narucha Khosasilvilai, Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration, and was attended by executives and representatives from the Royal Thai Police, Department of Special Investigation (DSI), Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO), and Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) at the 9th floor Conference Room, Department of Provincial Administration, Thanalai Tower Building, Bang Phlat District, Bangkok.

The meeting was organized by the Working Group on Countering Civil Registration Security Threats under the Department of Provincial Administration. The meeting discussed the advancement of efforts to address security threats related to civil registration, including personnel, budgetary resources, and operational measures. The discussion aimed to promote and integrate cooperation among relevant agencies in preventing, suppressing, and addressing corruption related to civil registration and national identification cards. The meeting also sought to jointly establish approaches for monitoring, verification, and the exchange of relevant information to prevent civil registration data or documents from being misused or exploited as a means of facilitating unlawful activities that may adversely affect national security.
