The Working Group meeting on Thailand’s Accession to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) for 1/2025

On 25 July 2025, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., the Office of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) convened the Working Group meeting on Thailand’s Accession to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) for 1/2025. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Bhumivisan Kasemsook, Secretary-General of the PACC and Advisor to the Working Group, together with Pol. Lt. Col. Siripong Sritula, Assistant Secretary-General of the PACC, Acting Deputy Secretary-General and Chair of the Working Group delivered the opening remarks and outlined the key policies and the role of the PACC in mobilizing Thailand’s OECD accession process.
During the meeting, the Working Group members reviewed the alignment of relevant laws, policies, and practices with OECD legal instruments by using the TH2OECD System developed by the Office of the Council of State. This system supports the preparation of the Initial Memorandum (IM) in accordance with OECD evaluation procedures. In addition, the meeting discussed forward-looking strategies to prepare for further assignments related to other OECD instruments, ensuring a structured and efficient approach.
Furthermore, this meeting reflects the PACC’s strong commitment to raising operational standards in line with international governance principles, through systematic legal analysis and comprehensive internal collaboration.
