Secretary-General of the PACC Delivered a Special Lecture on "Mechanisms for Preventing and Reporting Corruption" at Thailand - China Cooperation Expo 2025

On Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 4:15 PM, Mr. Bhumivisan Kasemsook, Secretary-General of the PACC, participated as a guest speaker in a special lecture titled "Mechanisms for Preventing and Reporting Corruption." The lecture aimed to highlight the key role of the PACC in monitoring and addressing corruption in order to promote transparency and fairness in business operations.
The event was organized by Committee for Coordination and Promotion of Sustainable Thai-Chinese Business under the theme "50 Years of Thailand-China Relations: Toward Shared Prosperity" as part of the Thailand - China Cooperation Expo 2025. The expo serves as a platform to promote trade, investment, and sustainable management innovations between Thailand, China, and the ASEAN region. Also, Dr. Poj Aramwattananont, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade of Thailand, delivered the opening remarks. The event was also attended by PACC officials, students, university representatives, private sector stakeholders, and the public. It was held at the Challenger Hall, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province.
In his address, the Secretary-General of the PACC emphasized that Thailand is ready to welcome investors from China and around the world. He acknowledged that one of the major concerns for investors is the issue of corruption. Mr. Bhumivisan reaffirmed the PACC’s commitment, as a government agency, to taking decisive action to combat corruption related to investment across all sectors in Thailand. He stated that the PACC will serve as a mechanism to monitor and oversee all forms of corruption, ensuring that businesses can operate in a transparent and accountable manner. This, in turn, will foster investor confidence, drive business growth in Thailand, and pave the way for shared stability and prosperity in the future.
