The Secretary-General of PACC Met the Secretary-General of ONCB Chief to Boost Anti-Corruption Cooperation on Drug-Linked Officials

On Wednesday, 18 March 2026, at 10:30 a.m., Mr. Bhumivisan Kasemsook, Secretary-General of the PACC, together with Pol. Lt. Col. Siripong Sritula, Deputy Secretary-General of the PACC, met with Police Major General Suriya Singhakamol, Secretary-General of the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB), to discuss official matters and exchange information regarding efforts to prevent and suppress corruption and misconduct in the public sector. The meeting aimed to enhance cooperation in addressing drug-related issues, particularly cases involving state officials. The discussion took place at the ONCB in Din Daeng, Bangkok.

This meeting marked an integrated collaboration among the PACC, ONCB, the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO), and other relevant agencies, in line with the government’s urgent policy to tackle drug-related problems. Emphasis was placed on prosecuting state officials involved in narcotics offenses, whether through drug use, participation in criminal networks, or drug trafficking. Although operational-level cooperation had already been in place, this meeting constituted a formal discussion to establish clear and concrete guidelines for joint operations, with the objective of ensuring more effective law enforcement going forward.
